Recently we published the open and revealing stats on how we were tracking with our website when we launched and how we were going with our goal to rank for terms like “SEO Noosa“, “SEO Sunshine Coast“ and so on.
To be perfectly honest we have been pretty busy working on our clients and other projects to have dedicated a huge amount of time and effort to our own ranking efforts but we have still been steadily plugging away. Consistency is key 🙂
A couple of weeks ago we officially hit number 1 in Google for “SEO Noosa”
But, it then slid away pretty quickly back to number 3, then to 2, then back to 3 again.
But true to form and the work we have put in we popped back to number 1 again and it looks to be holding steady for now.
Movement in rankings always occurs, so you should never panic when a ranking drops a few places. We see it all the time and understand that it’s par for the course of SEO.

Take note of all the paid ads that are running here. These guys are all paying to rank for this term so every time someone clicks on their ad it costs them money!
We’ll be keeping an eye on how this sticks as obviously SEO terms are pretty competitive, every SEO company wants to rank for “SEO+their location” but there is only one top spot, so we expect that the competition might fire up.
